The project aimed to revive and revitalize the weaving craft for which the village of Bani Jamra has been famous for more than a century. It is proposed to design and establish a factory for this craft in the heart of the village and among its farms. The factory building will take the form of “Barasti” as its theme, and when completed it will be in the form of a roofed structure to provide the necessary shade for weaving and spinning works while preserving the popular character of this craft. The project will also include a center for promoting and selling the factory’s products to tourists and visitors.
